Featured by UVA Obscura and the Virginia Magazine, Alden House is one of the better-known lesser-known properties on Grounds. Sometimes speculated to be haunted, the property was once home to UVA's first astronomers. In the 1980s, it was the site of the department's annual Halloween party.
